After having produced 185,760 tonnes of sugar the northeastern Cuban province of Holguin ended the 2016-2017 harvest; what represents 95 percent of the season’s plan. Although over 9,500 tonnes of sugar did not come true in the season, the province finally produced 56,760 tonnes over the previous term.
