Holguín already has 29 self-employed workers linked to these tasks with state entities, a fact that supports the extension of an experience that seeks solutions for the construction of housing in the municipalities.
During the initial day they held a skills competition, in which workers from different units of the province competed in the production of materials that allow the construction of real estate with quality and in less time.
Among the novelties highlighted the presentation of the concrete tablet, which seeks the assembly of blinds using cement and metal rods, inventive created in the middle of special period and perfected in recent years, said specialists.
The Doctor of Sciences Carlos Leyva Rodríguez, a professor at the Higher Metallurgical Mining Institute of Moa, gave a lecture on the implementation of the so-called artisanal mining based on local development, seeking the efficient use of the natural resources of each place.
The choice of mineral resources, geological-mining recognition and testing and analysis of samples, as well as compliance with sustainability indicators, stand out in the study presented by Leyva Rodríguez.
Involving the scientific societies and similar careers of the territorial universities, as well as managing the financings for projects that allow to elevate the studies, are among the recommendations made by the researcher.
The advantages of low carbon cement LC 3 occupied spaces on the first day of the workshop, where participants learned about the ways to stimulate the production of this material from the territories, always under controlled forms.
Representatives of state agencies of the 14 municipalities of Holguin participated in the meeting. Among the objectives of the workshop were to socialize the best experiences of the province, unify criteria and stimulate the production of materials for construction at local levels.
