The Popular Council of San Andrés, in Holguín, chosen as a priority neighborhood in 2018, throughout the month of April has been the protagonist of several restorations, especially in the area of services.
Among the main projects that are already being executed in that territory for the benefit of the entire community are the Cabinda and Arcoiris coffee shops. In addition to Luanda, the System of Attention to the Family (SAF) of that locality, and the restaurant Los Caneyes.
On the other hand, the social purpose of facilities such as the old maternal facility will be modified, now rehabilitated as the Casa de Abuelos, according to María Teresa Guetón, main specialist of Umbrales.
The objective is to finish these works as a tribute to its residents with a view on May 17, Day of the Peasant in Cuba, and that without doubt will mark a before and after for that territory. Valid recognition to these men and women who day by day give themselves to the honorable act of making the land produce.
