Motivated by the celebration of the XXI Congress of the CTC and the 80th anniversary of the founding of that workers' structure, the union movement in Holguin is preparing to march this May Day with unity, commitment and victory.
A mobilization in which there is expected to be a lot of color, mass, joy, a reflection of what has been happening since the convocation was announced in all the work centers and public spaces, where the working class expresses its enthusiasm for the advent of the day of the world proletariat.
In this regard, Milagro Franco, a member of the secretariat of the provincial CTC that deals with the ideological sphere, said: "All the union structures were reached, where we saw a lot of motivation in the workers and their families. We are developing 53 acts in the popular councils so that all the people have participation. "
A broad plan of activities in all the municipalities of the province, in which the workers have had participation and prominence, complements this feast of the world proletariat with actions to increase efficiency in productive processes, encourage savings and continue in the recovery of the damages caused by Hurricane Irma.
The days of the emulative movement "For the paths of the triumph", in which more than a hundred work centers participate, in which the condition was granted to about 14. To this mobilization actions are added for the sowing of the cane , historical workshops, meetings with former leaders of the organization and tours of sites of economic interest.
More than 200 thousand holguineros in 17 blocks will parade in the municipal seat. There are about 500 thousand who will participate throughout the province. The agricultural union will open the parade, and civil defense workers will close it.
Convened to unity as the key to the success of the Cuban social process, to reaffirm the commitment to the continuity of the Revolution and the legacy of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, the workers of Holguin are ready to march this May Day.
