The department store “Las Novedades”, in Holguin downtown, reopened after a huge renovation of about 3,9 millions Cuban pesos (CUP) and 14 thousand convertible ones (CUC).
One new service in the store is the commercialization of top quality clothes; goods confiscated in the customs or from the illegal trade.
Clients can find there clothes, soap and personal hygiene products, shoes, furniture and other useful garments.
The reopening of Las Novedades brought a large river of clients eager to get home their favorite articles, sold at the large shop locate downtown, and with huge potentials for commerce since it was founded before 1959.
