Around 50 percent of the investment plan of the agricultural system in the province of Holguín is linked to the Agricultural and Forestry Development program associated with the East-West Transfer, that work of millionaire values underway in this territory of eastern Cuba.
The fulfillment of the mentioned program has a strategic conception, as much for the province as for the country, for the benefits and benefits that derive and assure to give value of use to the investments already executed in the matter of hydraulic infrastructure in the East-West Transfer.
These completed works benefit the irrigation of the agricultural plantations of different crops, the rice plan, as well as the needs of livestock, just to mention a few examples, and the potentialities and prospects are much more comprehensive.
In order to illustrate the previous thing, I will say that the works associated to the System of Irrigation of Ramon II, in the municipality of Cueto were programmed; meanwhile the construction of the conductors of irrigation of Santa Clara to Three Palmas and the one of Three Palmas to Arroyo Seco, were affected by lack of supplies, a situation that will have to be solved to take them to happy conclusion.
Criteria exposed by specialists in the matter coincide in pointing out the urgency of impregnating an accelerated rhythm to the works in execution, in order to guarantee the fulfillment of the planned thing, responsibility that corresponds to the leaders, technicians and workers in general involved in the tasks.
I am aware that check-up and control actions have been carried out in the municipalities where the works in progress are located, which should translate into progress in the actions approved for this year, which are about to be concluded, as well as projecting towards the tasks conceived for 2019.
With this look at the Integral Agricultural and Forestry Development program associated with the East-West Transfer, I only intend to call the attention of all those who have the mission of ratifying the commitment that they will fulfill. That is the word of order.
