Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez is a fervent promoter of the knowledge and use of the existing potentials in the country for the advancement of electronic commerce as a way to facilitate people's daily lives.
On this modality of management Diaz-Canel emphasizes that we not only have the need to expand the alternatives for their use, but also to socialize them among the population.
This is precisely the objective of the III Trade Fair to be held by the Bank of Credit and Commerce (Bandec) of Holguín, scheduled for the 13th, at 9 a.m., in the vestibule of the institution, located in Arias street, between Libertad and Maceo in this city of Holguín.
The information of José Alberto Rojas Expósito, manager in communication and marketing, added that all services will be promoted, but the protagonism will be the massive delivery of the multibank card, considered the key to access to electronic payment channels, although the service is in all branches of Bandec.
From this step comes the purpose of increasing the number of users associated with Electronic Banking and the contribution to the computerization of society. Balance transfers, payments for electricity and telephone services, Onat payments, consultation of associated card balances, amortization of credits granted by Bandec and mobile balance recharging are viable operations to be carried out in this way.
Such actions can be carried out through a fixed telephone, the Kiosco website, or the Transfermovil application designed for smartphones with Androide operating system, explained Irela Oliva Cardoso, Head of the Electronic Banking department, in Bandec.
These days the Transfermovil application is being updated with new features that will be gradually incorporated, such as the recharge of nauta permanent accounts and micro cell phone line recharges with a value between 1 cuc and 4.99 cuc.
Since January and July 21 of this year, Bandec clients in the province have carried out more than 39,900 operations using Transfermovil.
