The Provincial Company of Assurances to the Education in Holguín (Proved) undertakes diverse constructive actions in schools of the territory with a view to the beginning of the school year 2019-2020, next September 2nd.
During the months of July and August this group, made up of 154 workers distributed in two establishments, one in the municipality of Sagua de Tánamo and the other in "Calixto García", has been the protagonist of the repair of five Holguin schools as we learned in dialogue with Yunier Velázquez Batista, general director of Proved.
"In Calixto García we have worked in the primary school (E/P) Aleyda Fernández which received a capital investment. Before the school year begins, we will finish the constructive actions in the bathrooms and carpentry of the Fermín Rodríguez primary school in this same municipality," said the director who also noted that "in the case of Frank País and Sagua de Tánamo the works carried out have been mainly in the carpentry and roofs, specifically in the Luis Rolando Fernández Gómez E/P, affected its roof by a severe local storm and the Manuel Sanguily of those territories, respectively.
In addition Velázquez Batista alluded to the work being carried out in the basic high school of the municipality of Antilla, an investment that amounts to more than 200,000 pesos in the year and which conclusion is expected to occur in salute to the 61st anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
On the other hand, Proved's general director pointed out that "in the stage they have focused on the repair of school furniture, an issue seriously affected during this year 2019 by the shortage of raw materials. However, of the 7,500 modules of chairs purchased for this purpose, it is intended to reach 6,000 repairs before the start of the teaching stage.
The Provincial Company of Assurances to Education in Holguín holds the status of National Vanguard collective for the third time and it is not for pleasure. Its workers know they are responsible for a mission of the greatest importance, to guarantee that all the conditions are ready for a course that almost knocks on doors.
