The commercialization of Rensol brand solar heaters with a capacity of 90 liters of water, to natural persons in Holguin starts next Monday, January 13th at the Copextel store.
They will be on sale from Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm in the Avenida de los Internacionalistas (number 5), with a value of $2,945 pesos in local currency and the assembly service is $181 pesos.
For the purchase of the heaters customers must show their identity card and the last proof of payment of electricity.
This equipment reaches a temperature above 50°C, after being exposed for at least six hours a day to sunlight, allows washing, scrubbing and four people to bathe with rational water consumption.
According to data provided by Juan Carlos Cobas Cobiellas, general manager of Copextel in Holguin, the transportation of the equipment is by the customers and should be in a car where they can move the 12 glass tubes that the equipment brings.
For the installation of the solar heater, an area exposed to the sun is required, at least six hours a day throughout the year, and the surface should preferably be horizontal or in a way that allows the heater to be leveled.
The resistance of the roof must support a weight greater than 120-130 kg per square meter and there must be a cold water intake close to the place where it is installed.
The water supply tank must be above the thermotank of the solar heater. If the installation is done by customers, they are not entitled to the one year warranty on the equipment.
Copextel offers the service of technical visit, so that the customer has the possibility of having a technician come to their home by paying the amount of the visit and determine whether or not they meet the conditions.
Cobas Cobiellas emphasized that the use of these heaters is equivalent to saving 70 kwats/ hour per month. The marketing of this equipment is part of the change in Cuba's energy matrix as a function of energy savings.
